AEquitas offers training related to the investigation and prosecution of gender-based violence and human trafficking. We work alongside our multidisciplinary partners to continuously expand our course offerings. All training events are tuition-free, and scholarships may be available to help offset the cost of travel-related expenses.

FAQs

What type of trainings does AEquitas do? Can I request a certain type?

AEquitas conducts both in-person and web-based trainings on a wide variety of topics related to the investigation and prosecution of gender-based violence. We'll work with you to determine the best training options available to meet the needs of your audience.

How much do your trainings cost?

Web-based trainings are free. For in-person/on-site trainings, AEquitas does not charge for materials and staff instruction, but requires that travel-related expenses be covered.

Who conducts the training?

AEquitas' staff of experienced prosecutors deliver the trainings. On occasion we may also partner with adjunct faculty facilitators, including but not limited to state and national experts representing law enforcement officers, judges, advocates, medical professionals, and mental health professionals.
